Computer repair questions
How much does an onsite computer repair cost?
Onsite labour is $110 per hour plus a $50 call-out. The minimum onsite booking is 1 hour minimum. Many common repairs take around one to two hours, but the final cost depends on the actual problem.
Do you repair both desktop and laptop computers?
Yes. We help with common Windows desktop and laptop problems. Some hardware repairs may require parts or workshop-style repair, which will be explained before anything is purchased.
Can you help if the computer will not turn on?
Yes. We can inspect power, startup and Windows loading problems. If replacement hardware is required, the diagnosis time is billable and parts are quoted separately.
Do I pay if the computer cannot be fully fixed?
Support and diagnosis time are still billable if the issue cannot be completed because parts, passwords, internet access, account access, paid software or replacement equipment are required.
Can you help me decide whether to repair or replace the computer?
Yes. We will explain the likely repair cost, the computer’s age and practical upgrade options so you can make an informed decision.
How quickly can you attend?
Most jobs are completed the same day or the following day, depending on the time booked, location, availability and whether parts are required. Urgent priority may be available for an additional fee.
