Privacy and website enquiries
This page explains what information the Social Blade website collects when you request help and how that information is used.
Information you choose to provide
When you use a booking or advertising enquiry form, you may provide a name, phone number, email address, suburb, device information, a description of the problem, contact preference and an optional image. Only one valid phone number or email address is required to submit a request.
Google Ads conversion measurement
The website uses the Google tag to measure whether visits from advertising lead to completed booking requests. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to remember an advertising click and associate it with a later conversion. Information processed for this purpose may include page activity, browser and device information, IP address, advertising click identifiers and the completed-booking event. This information is used to measure advertising performance. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.
Optional advertising audience matching
The booking form includes an optional advertising-permission checkbox. If you actively select it and complete the booking request, Social Blade IT Services may use the email address or phone number you supplied to create and use advertising audiences with Google and Meta, including Facebook and Instagram. Selecting the checkbox is not required to request or receive IT support.
Only the contact identifier needed for audience matching and the associated consent record are used for this purpose. Problem descriptions, photographs, passwords, banking details and identity-document numbers are not included in customer-list audience uploads. An unfinished or abandoned form, or a completed request where the checkbox was not selected, is not treated as advertising consent.
The advertising provider securely processes the contact identifier to check whether it corresponds with an account on its service. Social Blade records whether permission was selected, when it was recorded and the version of the wording shown. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.
You may withdraw this optional permission at any time by emailing support@socialblade.com.au or calling 07 3841 4154. Social Blade will stop including the contact details in future customer-list uploads and will remove them from applicable advertising audiences.
Website chat
The website uses Tawk.to to provide live chat. If you use the chat widget, Tawk.to may process your messages and the technical information needed to operate the chat, such as your IP address, browser and device details. Information submitted through chat is used to respond to your enquiry. Do not send passwords, banking details or identity-document numbers through chat.
Unfinished enquiry capture
After a valid phone number or email address has been entered, the website may securely save the information currently in the form. If you close the page, go back, follow another link, or select a Call, Text or Email option before pressing Send request, the saved information may be sent to Social Blade so we can follow up.
The website does not intentionally collect passwords, banking details or identity-document numbers. Please do not enter that information into a website form.
Technical and advertising information
For security, spam prevention and enquiry handling, records may include the date and time, IP address, page address, browser information, submission or exit reason and a form identifier. Enquiries from advertising pages may also include the campaign name and advertising parameters such as UTM values or advertising click identifiers.
How the information is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange and provide IT support, keep service records, prevent repeated or abusive submissions, diagnose delivery problems and understand which pages or advertisements generated an enquiry.
Storage and access
Website enquiry records are stored in a private server directory that is not intended to be publicly accessible. Access is limited to people who need the information to operate Social Blade IT Services. Email providers and hosting systems may process information as part of delivering and storing messages.
Retention and deletion
Information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for enquiry handling, service records, security, dispute resolution and applicable business record requirements. Unnecessary drafts, security counters and attachments may be removed earlier.
Access, correction or questions
To ask what information is held about you, request a correction or deletion where appropriate, or raise a privacy concern, contact Social Blade IT Services at support@socialblade.com.au or call 07 3841 4154.
